The Florida Chapter is proud to note the recent accomplishments
of three of its members!

AMWA Fellowship
Donna Miceli, of Ft. Myers, FL, was awarded an AMWA fellowship at the 2007 Annual Conference in Atlanta. AMWA fellowships are awarded to recognize members’ important contributions to the goals and activities of the association and for professional accomplishments that have been recognized by their peers. Donna has been an AMWA member since 1989 and was an active member of the Delaware Valley Chapter before moving to Florida. Donna has been extensively involved in AMWA at both the chapter and national level, and we’re proud to have her among our chapter membership. BELS Certification
The chapter also congratulates Ann Ryan Griswold, PhD, ELS, of Gainesville, and Jane Warren, MTPW, ELS, of Largo, who passed the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS) certification examination earlier this year. BELS was founded in 1991 to evaluate the proficiency of manuscript editors in the life sciences and to award credentials similar to those obtainable in other professions.
