The Florida Chapter of AMWA provides opportunities for enhanced learning for members throughout the state.
2008 AMWA Florida Chapter Conference Spring Success. The Florida Chapter held its 2008 Chapter Conference on Friday-Sunday, February 29-March 2, 2008, at the Embassy Suites Orlando Hotel, Orlando. This unprecedented 3-day event included 5 AMWA workshops and 5 special sessions. The Florida Chapter was pleased to collaborate with the Orlando Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) on this event to bring attendees special sessions in addition to workshops in the AMWA education program.
Florida Chapter Leaders. The AMWA Florida Chapter is led by an Executive Committee (EC), composed of officers and appointed volunteers. The officers and other members of the EC assumed their positions on November 1, 2007, following finalization of the 2007 chapter election.

National AMWA Meeting. The national AMWA meeting will be held on October 23-25, 2008 in Louisville, KY. Be sure to review this year's terrific program.
